Case Studies » Medical Injuries
A man was an inpatient at a hospital to have an operation for a pre-existing spinal condition. After several weeks in hospital recovering from the operation and having been given strong dosage of pain killing medication, he first started to mobilise and take his first steps, but due to weakness in his legs caused by the operation he fell, banged his head and lost consciousness. After a Letter of Claim was sent and correspondence followed, the man successfully recovered compensation for his additional injury and pain and suffering.
